Here are some general planning guidelines to help with making your party the absolute best it can be!
3-4 Weeks Before Your Party:
- Choose a Noah's Ark Workshop party theme.
- Call Your Party Leader to make a reservation.
- Pick the party date and time. Schedule the party for 2 - 2 1/2 hours.. The Workshop portion of the party general lasts about 1 hour, leaving you an hour or so for snacks, cake, presents and optional games.
- Create the guest list. Don't forget friends at daycare, school, in the neighborhood, and close relatives.
- Request your FREE party Invitations from your Party Leader.
- Order party supplies and party favors from your Party Leader. Be sure to order enough tableware for the adults that will attend, as well
2-3 Weeks Before Your Party:
- Send the invitations. Be sure to ask guests to RSVP so you know how many children to expect. Confirm with the Party Leader how many children will be attending.
- Decide on activities and games that you will play with the guests either before/ or after the workshop portion of the party.
- Purchase small toys and / or candy to be used as game prizes.
- Plan your menu. Check with parents for any food allergies or special conditions.
- Depending on the age of the guest, arrange for extra help on the party day from friends or relatives.
1 Week Before Your Party:
- Order cake, or bake your own cake and freeze it.
- Make any other foods that can be made ahead of time and store in the freezer.
- Write out a final schedule of activities for the party.
- Confirm your final number of guests with your Party Leader and / or party supplies and favor box order.
- Confirm any orders placed for the cake.
- Determine where your workshop portion of the party will take place and prepare the area.
- Let siblings invite a special friend over for the day so they won't feel left out.
